The National Republican Senatorial Committee is using someone imitating Robn Leach to declare that Rep. Shelley Berkley is rich and staying in nice hotels around the world and charging taxpayers for it. New ad:
The latest state numbers, linked here, show a statewide decrease of 3 percent from August 2011 to August 2012. Strip is down a little, Washoe up a bit.
Two new Nevada ads just starting show how Danny Tarkanian is counting on the NRCC to go negative on Steven Horsford and also indicate how Greg Brower's brief run for Congress last year is coming back to haunt him -- the anti-Brower ad is from unions and a national Demoartic group. The ads:

Speaker John Oceguera's pollster says his client is losing by 5 percentage points to Rep. Joe Heck, lower than some recent surveys but right in line with what the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee says. Oceguera and the national Democrats are pushing back against recent polls -- including one posted this weekend on this site -- that show Heck with a double-digit lead.
