The Nevada Republican Party early Saturday morning added to the chorus of dissenters to state Sen. Justin Jonss' background checks bill.
This has become a partisan issue in Carson City, as it did in DC, with several groups sending out breathless alerts and posting apocalyptic messages.
The state GOP arguing folks "need to ask you to take some action this weekend to honor the sacrifices our fallen service members made to defend our rights, including the right to keep and bear arms."
