I told you Wednesday about the initial contact, which was a mixed message of filing grievances and preparing for the May 14 state convention. On Thursday, the campaign, which allowed many of its delegate slots to be filled by Sanders folks, reached out to alternate delegates for a conference call.

I am happy to inform you that you have been selected to represent Clark County as a Hillary Clinton ALTERNATE Delegate at the Nevada Democratic Party State Convention taking place on Saturday, May 14th in Las Vegas! As a State Alternate Delegate for Hillary, you are responsible for representing your fellow Nevadans who support Hillary to ensure the results reflect the will of the people who made their voices heard at the February 20th Caucus. We can’t express how critical it is that you attend the State Convention.
To kick off our mobilization efforts, we are hosting a State Delegate & Alternate conference call tomorrow at 5:30pm to discuss next steps and how to avoid the issues that we confronted at the county conventions. We will also have a *VERY, VERY SPECIAL GUEST* join us on the call. Trust me, you DON’T want to miss it!
