I've seen a lot of crazy things in Nevada politics, but the longest running embarrassment in the arena has set a new standard: The Nevada Republican Party reported raising nothing.
That's right, since June, the state GOP has taken in no contributions of mroe than $1,000, so its report is dotted with zeroes. Oh, there are dozens of small contributions -- $8.25 and $35 and $50 -- but that just adds up to a few grand. And yet the party of fiscal conservatives spent $65,000, including nearly $16,000 on....direct mail fundraising.
