When Bob Brown was at the Review-Journal, which crusaded to defeat him in 2010, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said to him, "I hope you got out of business."
Today, Reid said of Brown, "I have known Bob Brown for a long time and can personally testify to his commitment to serving the less fortunate of Nevada."
Brown was forced out of the RJ earlier this year. And now Reid loves him:
Reid Appoints Bob Brown To The National Council On Disability
Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid appointed Robert (Bob) M. Brown to the National Council on Disability. The National Council on Disability is an independent federal agency that advises the President, Congress, and other federal agencies about policies that affect people with disabilities.
“I am pleased to appoint Bob Brown to serve on the National Council on Disability,” said Reid. “Bob has been an advocate for people with disabilities for 15 years, and he has long been a proven, effective community leader in Nevada. I have known Bob Brown for a long time and can personally testify to his commitment to serving the less fortunate of Nevada. What most qualifies him for this position, however, is that as the father of a child with disabilities, he knows firsthand that our entire community must come together in order to overcome the challenges faced by people with disabilities. Bob will bring important personal experiences along with years of leadership experience to the Board and I know he will be a great addition.”

God, I love Nevada.
