New mail pieces portray Seaman as "tax hypocrite"

Victoria Seaman, the assemblywoman running for an open state Senate seat by assailing a colleague for his tax votes, is portrayed as a "tax hypocrite" in mail pieces hitting mailboxes this week.

Seaman, who has attacked Erv Nelson for backing the largest tax increase in history after promising not to raise taxes, is pilloried in the pieces as having signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge and then raised taxes. The delicious irony of the pieces is that they refer to serial failure Chuck Muth's evisceration of Seaman for breaking the pledge he treats as a Torah-like document. Muth, through Citizen Outhouse, is trying to defeat several incumbents who voted for the tax increase, which Seaman opposed.

The mailers, which you can see below, were paid for by the Nevada Jobs Coalition, a PAC overseen by Gov. Brian Sandoval's closest advisers and that helped elect state Sens. Becky Harris and Patty Farley last cycle.
