Miller the Younger locks up support North and South

If you are wondering why Republicans are having trouble finding a credible candidate to challenge Secretary of State Ross Miller for attorney general, consider what is occurring this month:

Two fundraisers, one North (Eldorado) and one South (Wynn), that feature host committees cutting across partisan and special interest lines.

The event announcements, both attached here, include:

----A slew of current (Clark DA Steve Wolfson not seen on this kind of list very often) and former elected officials

----Lobbyists galore

----Steve Wynn, whose name rarely adorns such lists (Miller the Elder has been on the company's board)

----The Las Vegas Police Protective Assocaition, which alsong with the Police Officers’ Research Association (PORAN), the Clark County Prosecutors’ Association and the Clark County District Attorney Investigators Association has given Miller an early embrace.

----Republicans such as the Fertitta brothers (Miller is a huge UFC guy), Monte Miller (no relation) and Sig Rogich

These names just scratch the surface of these message-sending events, stuffed with prominent names. The message, in case Adam Laxalt and Greg Brower can't read anointmentspeak, is simple: Stay out.

Not sure how he got ex-Gov. Bob Miller and ex-first lady Sandy Miller on both invites.....

Game over?
