In a missive sent Friday, Dave McKeon, who wants to oust Cindy Lake as chair of the Clark County GOP, claimed he has registered 100 times more voters than she has.
McKeon says he registered 100 Republicans, including 16 party-swtichers, in 27 days while she has registered just one -- former Republican, Chuck Muth, the anti-tax drumbeater who apparently returned to the fold.
A few comments on the neverending GOP comedy show:
1. At this pace, McKeon is on pace (I'll give him a little benefit of the doubt) to registered about 2,000 new Republicans by Election Day 2014. That would leave the Democrats with a mere 134,000-voter lead in Southern Nevada, assuming they do....nothing. They must be petrified.
2. It is ridiculous to accuse Lake of only registering one voter. Really?
3. If Lake represents the Ron Paul faction, am I to gather McKeon is the evil Establishment then?
4. If it's a grammar/punctuation contest, McKeon loses. Find two errors just in this paragraph:
Dave developed a plan and implemented it to secure more than 100 registered Republicans in 27 days. The total number of registrations includes 16 Democrats that switched to the Republican Party. Volunteers went to gun stores, churches, DMV's and canvassed neighborhoods.
I can't wait for this election on July 17.
Here's what McKeon sent out:
LEAD, FOLLOW, OR GET OUT OF THE WAY!
Dave Leads, Cindy Follows
Dave McKeon recognized the need to increase Republican voter registration numbers in Clark County and got to work right away.

Chairwoman Cindy Lake appears to have only registered 1 Republican, Chuck Muth, and that was during the Lincoln/Reagan Dinner in February. Dave is happy to see her follow his example.
A brief analysis of the NRP's success was delivered to State Chairman Michael McDonald and State Finance Chair, Dan Schwartz, earlier this week for their review.
Copies are available upon request to those who wish to become volunteers of the NRP Voter Registration PAC.
